FireFeed integrates with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). Connecting your Amazon Seller Central account to FireFeed is an explicit, seller-driven action that you can revoke at any time.
What FireFeed uses SP-API for
FireFeed can use SP-API to:
- synchronize product catalog data;
- update prices on Amazon;
- update stock and availability;
- import Amazon orders into the operational dashboard;
- retrieve and manage shipping and recipient information needed to fulfill orders;
- send shipment confirmation and tracking updates back to Amazon.
Roles requested
FireFeed may request the following SP-API roles, each only when required to deliver functionality the seller has enabled:

Recipient and shipping data
FireFeed accesses recipient and shipping information only when required to fulfill Amazon orders, prepare shipments, generate shipping documentation, and transmit shipment confirmation or tracking updates.
Recipient information is restricted data. It is:
- used only for fulfillment and logistics workflows;
- not used for marketing, profiling, advertising, resale or unrelated analytics;
- encrypted at rest and protected by least-privilege access;
- retained only for the period required to complete fulfillment and operational reconciliation, then deleted or anonymized in line with the Amazon Data Protection Policy.

The seller clicks Connect Amazon Seller Central in FireFeed.
Authorize on Amazon
The seller is redirected to Amazon to authorize FireFeed for the specific roles required.
Return to FireFeed
Amazon returns the seller to FireFeed; FireFeed receives the SP-API authorization.
Operations enabled
The seller can now use the FireFeed features that depend on the authorized roles.
Revoking access
Sellers can revoke FireFeed access at any time from their Amazon Seller Central account, in Apps & Services › Manage Your Apps. Once access is revoked, FireFeed stops calling SP-API for that seller and proceeds to the deletion or anonymization of the seller's Amazon Information held by FireFeed, in accordance with the Amazon Data Protection Policy.
Supported marketplaces
FireFeed is designed to work across Amazon marketplaces accessible through SP-API. The exact set of marketplaces enabled for a given seller depends on the seller's Amazon account and the roles authorized.

FireFeed is currently preparing its Selling Partner Appstore listing. Availability may depend on Amazon approval and seller eligibility. Until then, sellers can connect FireFeed by reaching out to our sales team.
Frequently asked questions
Does FireFeed receive my Amazon password?
No. Authorization is handled by Amazon. FireFeed receives an SP-API token only after the seller explicitly authorizes the application from Seller Central.
Why does FireFeed need recipient information?
Recipient information is required to fulfill the order, prepare shipping documentation, and provide shipment confirmation and tracking updates back to Amazon. It is not used for any other purpose.
How long is recipient data kept?
Recipient and shipping information is retained only for the period required to complete fulfillment and operational reconciliation. See the Amazon Data Protection Policy for retention details.
Can I limit which roles FireFeed has?
Yes. The seller authorizes only the roles needed for the features they enable. Restricted roles such as Direct-to-Consumer Shipping are requested only when shipment fulfillment is in scope.
